Ford Mustang Cobra Shelby's fame is undeniably spreading in all corners of the world. It comes in four powerful model series, the AC CXS 1000, CXS 4000, CXS 7000 and CXS 8000. To remove the clouding doubts of the car's authenticity, each model has Shelby CXS numbers and Manufacturer's Statement of Origin personally signed by Carroll Shelby. AC CXS 1000 is a combination of Ford and AC Cars Limited. AC Cars Limited is a car company in England known to produce quality cars.

The combination of these companies is the result of AC's difficulty in the manufacture of their engine. Carroll Shelby, a famous racer, is the proponent of the combination which produced a line of cobra-like AC Shelby CXS 1000. Yearly improvements for CXS 4000 are stronger steel frame, better component alloy, added cooling and heat shielding components. Available bodies are aluminum, carbon fiber and fiber glass.

 

With a speed of 0-60 MPH under four seconds and twelve second quarter mile, it will surely arouse a feeling of superior control over the road. CXS 7000(289 FIA) and CXS 8000(289 Street) are carry-over models of Cobra 289. From 1962 to 1965 it has been the most famous racing car around the world. CXS 7000 is available in aluminum and fiber glass while CXS 8000 can only be found in aluminum.
