Ford Mustang classic part
The 1964 Ford Mustang is built on the compact Falcon platform for lower production
cost. Its features and parts are similar with the Falcon such as the obligatory
back seat although it comes with a long list of option to customize the car. In
mid 1964, the sporty 2+2 fastback body style was introduced for hardtop coupe
and convertible. Ford Mustang finally had its own identity in 1966 withy the reworked
gauge cluster and replacement of the 260 cid V8 with 2 and 4 barrel versions of
the 289 cid V8. The racing car, Shelby GT-350, comes with added automatic transmission
and Paxton supercharger which could boost the car's power to a maximum of 40%.
Numerous changes for Ford Mustang parts were done for 1967. To name a few, the
car has thicker and heavier sheet metal below the belt line, more aggressive grille
due to its form and shape, full fastback roofline for the fastback body style,
wider engine compartment and concaved tail panel.
