2005 Ford Mustang Specs

2005 Ford Mustang is available in two body styles, the coupe and convertible
with ten varied trims to choose from. The standard 100A coupe is equipped with
a standard 4.6-liter, V8, 260-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg for city
use and 26-mpg for highway use. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is
standard on both trims and optional is a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
GT comes with a 4.6L 90-degree V-8 engine with aluminum block and heads that
can produce up to 300 @ 6,000 rpm of horsepower and 315 lb-ft @ 4,500 rpm of torque.
Power train and chassis features include multi-layer steel, cylinder head gasket,
hypereutectic aluminum pistons, high-thread-insert spark plugs and dual knock
sensors. V-6 is equipped with a 4.0L 60-degree V-6 engine with iron block and
aluminum heads rated at 202hp @ 5,250 rpm and 235 lb-ft @ 3,500 rpm. Features
for power train and chassis are 65 mm single-bore electronic throttle body, multi-layer
steel cylinder head gasket, forged steel connecting rods and hypereutectic aluminum
pistons.
