2005 Ford Mustang Convertible

Ford Mustang Convertible for 2005 comes with three available engines. The base 190 hp, 3.8Ltr OHV V6, 4.6Ltr V8 and the 4 valve DOHC 4.6Ltr V8. The base engine features split port induction which helps optimize fuel use and easy flow cylinder heads with high tech piston coatings which help increase horsepower. The 4.6Ltr V8 is the most powerful engine producing 260 horsepower and 302 lb ft of torque. Its single overhead cam design helps provide power output with higher rpm.

The new 4 valve DOHC 4.6Ltr V8 engine available only for Mustang Mach 1 which makes use of specially calibrated cams, reworked upper intake to accommodate the ram-air system, forged crank with automatic transmission application and performance exhaust manifolds which could produce a maximum of more than 300 horsepower.

 

For this year the popular Pony Package Interior Upgrade is offered to enhance the car's interior looks through the new Mustang Bullitt door lock soldiers, Bullitt pedals, Cobra 4 way head restraint and a Mustang GT leather shift knob. Entertainment system comes anew with an MP3 player that could play up to seven hours of digitally stored music. Included also is the Mach 1000 System with 1140 watts of peak power through 8 premium speakers and 2subs and added AM/FM stereo with in-dash 6-CD player.
