For 2005, Ford Mustang comes in six different models, the Mustang Coupe, Mustang Convertible, Mustang GT Coupe, Mustang GT Convertible, Mustang Mach 1, and the SVT Mustang Cobra. Each has its own features and packages giving it a distinct identity.

 

Coupe and convertible are powered by a 3.8-liter OHV SEFI V-6 engine that can produce up to 193 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 225 pounds-per foot of torque at 2,800 rpm. Next in line is a Split Port Intake 4.6-liter SOHC SEFI V-8 that rated at 260 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and 302 pounds-per foot of torque at 4,000 rpm for Mustang GT Coupe and Mustang GT Convertible.

 

Standard for Mustang Mach 1 and SVT Mustang Cobra is a MOD 4.6-liter DOHC V-8 that delivers 305 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 320 pounds-per foot of torque at 4,200 rpm. Standard for all is a four-speed automatic transmission, power rack and pinion steering, four-wheel disc brakes and 16/17? aluminum wheels.
